Lemon Tarragon Chicken Recipe
Ingredients:
- 8 chicken breast halves, boned and skinned
- 1 (14 1/2 oz) can chicken broth
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
- 1/3 cup flour
- 2 tablespoons margarine
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 2 cup mushrooms, halved
- 3 tablespoons dry sherry
- 1/2 teaspoon tarragon, crushed
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions:
1. Preheat a large skillet over medium high heat and melt the margarine.
2. Add in the chicken, lemon pepper seasoning, mushrooms, terragon, garlic and sherry. Let it cook for 6 minutes then turn the chicken pieces and let it cook for another 6 minutes.
3. Remove the chicken and mushroom and place them on a platter.
4. In a mixing bowl, combine and mix well the chicken broth and flour. Stir the mixture into the skillet and let it cook until thickened and bubbly. Stir in the sour cream and return the chicken and mushrooms back into the skillet. Remove the heat and stir for a few seconds.
5. Serve over cooked riced or noodles.
